Embark on a rewarding journey supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working on-site in vibrant educational settings near Bradenton, FL. This contract opportunity begins ASAP and extends through late May 2027, offering full-time hours (35 hours per week) and the potential for a flexible 4-day workweek, depending on the school location.

You’ll be assigned to one of two schools. In Parrish, your caseload will focus on students within two low cognitive units and one behavior unit, with about 50 students receiving direct therapy and 10 receiving consultative services. This school benefits from a newly appointed, progressive principal. The alternative site in West Bradenton features collaboration with an experienced SLP and an exceptional part-time SLPA. Here, you’ll help serve around 95 students across 2 intensive PK classes, 2 ASD classes, 2 integrated PK classes, 1 ESE PK, and 2 low cognitive classes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current FL SLP license required
• Previous school-based experience is highly valued
• Strong clinical skills supporting students with diverse cognitive and behavioral needs
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability and organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload
• Enthusiasm for helping students achieve their full potential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to assigned students
• Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation
• Consult with general and special education staff, as well as families, to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based intervention planning
• Provide guidance to support staff and paraprofessionals as needed
