What You'll Do

• Operate Siemens and GE CT scanners in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Perform routine ED scans including trauma, stroke, abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstructions
• Work within a high-volume environment with 8-12 patients per shift across 4-5 techs
• Collaborate with the team to support fast-paced, sensitive emergency procedures
• Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained during imaging procedures
• Utilize EPIC and Visage systems for patient data and image management
• Work night shifts, including weekends (Saturday-Monday), with no weekend RTO required

What You Need

• Required:
  • ARRT (R)(CT) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years hospital-based CT experience with Siemens scanners (S3000 & Sequoia) and GE
  • Experience with trauma CT procedures (abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, etc.)
  • Ability to start during the scheduled window and commit to entire contract period
• Preferred:
  • Outpatient experience, IV skills, PACS, contrast administration, Visage skills

About the Assignment This assignment is based in the emergency department of a prominent hospital in Charlotte, NC, with a fast-paced environment handling critical trauma, stroke, and routine ER cases. The CT tech will operate Siemens and GE scanners, performing a variety of urgent and routine scans with a high patient load. Shifts are 12-hour nights with scheduled weekends, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment for experienced technologists.
