CT Tech - Weekend Shifts

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts: 19:00 - 07:00 on Saturday and Sunday; Mid shifts: 15:00 - 03:00 on Monday.

Job Description: The position involves working with Siemens FORCE scanners in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Candidates are expected to perform CT scans on a variety of patient demographics, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, while ensuring high-quality imaging outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine CT scans on emergency department patients, including those requiring code stroke interventions and trauma evaluations.
• Managing a daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms.
• Utilizing advanced imaging techniques and adhering to safety protocols, including contrast administration and radiation safety measures.
• Maintaining effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and workflow.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience in a 500 bed hospital setting.
• Certification: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT) required.
• Experience with Siemens FORCE scanners is mandatory; do not submit candidates without this expertise.
• Familiarity with Epic and Visage charting systems preferred.
• Ability to perform a variety of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and more.
