What You'll Do

• Perform routine and emergency CT scans in a high-volume ED environment
• Operate Siemens and GE scanners, including FORCE technology
• Assist in trauma, stroke, and complex emergency cases
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Document and communicate findings accurately
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting

What You Need

• ARRT(R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of CT tech experience, including GE & Siemens FORCE scanners
• Experience working in hospital inpatient, ER, or ICU units
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedules
• Must have 500-bed hospital experience
• Must have no RTO during scheduled shifts

• Outpatient imaging experience
• IV insertion skills
• PACS and Visage system proficiency
• Contrast media administration experience

About the Assignment This role is based in the emergency department of a fast-paced, 500-bed hospital in Charlotte, NC. You will be working on Siemens S3000 and Sequoia scanners, performing ED imaging for diverse patient populations, including trauma and stroke cases. The department typically handles 8-12 patients per shift, with a team of 4-5 techs during day shifts and fewer overnight. The schedule includes weekends (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) with no RTO needed. The final start date will be confirmed by Novant a week prior, and travel reimbursements are available.
