We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing practice.

Position Summary

This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will enjoy working closely with patients, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about health and wellness. More important than experience, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Obtain vital signs and room patients.
• Review medications and allergies.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen processing.
• Administer injections under provider supervision.
• Assist with hormone pellet procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Ensure proper medication storage and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Administrative Duties

• Answer phones and greet patients.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.
• Process refill requests and patient messages.
• Verify pharmacy information.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Assist with patient communications and education.
• Support front office operations as needed.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Required

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Phlebotomy experience strongly required
• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) 
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent walking, bending, and reaching.

Schedule

Part-Time
Approximately 15-20 hours per week- Typically Tuesday and Friday, although can be flexible

Typical Hours:

Monday–Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm

No evenings

No weekends
