Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Associate Job Description

This role focuses on maintaining organized warehouse aisles, accurately processing inventory, and ensuring that all freight is unloaded, sorted, and stocked within established timelines. You will operate material handling equipment, use ERP and shipping systems, and help keep the warehouse and stockroom safe, clean, and efficient.

• Maintain warehouse aisles by following established sorting, stocking, and organization guidelines.
• Process inventory accurately by performing receiving, data entry, and inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Proactively investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, including performing regular cycle counts.
• Open, stack, and package cases and merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete the freight process within designated timeframes, including unloading truck trailers, loading merchandise onto carts, and distributing inventory to correct locations.
• Pull and stock merchandise in the appropriate warehouse and stockroom locations according to company procedures.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move large amounts of materials safely across the building.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities using systems such as UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping tools.
• Handle material, packing, and palletizing tasks to support shipping, receiving, and production needs.
• Use a computer and ERP systems to perform data entry, track inventory, and process shipping documentation.
• Keep the warehouse floor, stockroom, and sorting areas clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and guidelines while operating equipment and performing daily tasks.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate with team members and other departments.
• Perform other duties and support other areas of the warehouse as required by business needs.

• Proven stockroom or warehouse experience with responsibility for inventory handling and organization.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and move large amounts of materials across the building using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management, including cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency using computers and ERP systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and order processing.
• Ability to use shipping systems such as UPS WorldShip or FedEx for shipping and receiving tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging, labeling, and inventory documentation.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent physical activity, including lifting, loading, and packing.

• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including loading, unloading, and verifying shipments.
• Background in material handling, packing, and palletizing within a warehouse or machine shop setting.
• Familiarity with UPS WorldShip and/or FedEx shipping platforms.
• Previous experience in a large warehouse or open-space machine shop environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to support different areas of the operation as needed.

The role is based in a large warehouse and open-space machine shop environment with approximately 220 employees. The workplace is highly diverse and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and organization across the warehouse floor and stockroom. You will regularly use material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as computers, ERP systems, and shipping platforms like UPS WorldShip and FedEx. The operation offers significant overtime and double-time opportunities, and employees share in the companys success through bonus checks when organizational goals are achieved and the business is profitable. The environment is active and physically demanding, with frequent lifting, loading, and movement of materials throughout the facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
