About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as its chief executive and primary representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading fundraising and development efforts to ensure the organization's long-term financial sustainability, as well as guiding the development and implementation of a five-year strategic plan. This role requires a leader who can position the organization as a trusted voice in the community, cultivate major donors and institutional partners, and ensure the continued excellence of the organization's programs and advocacy efforts. The Executive Director will also be accountable for achieving revenue and operating goals, advancing strategic priorities, and maintaining the organization's human resources, technology, and infrastructure. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or legal services setting. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in fundraising, donor cultivation, and resource development, as well as experience in fiscal management, budget oversight, and strong HR management skills. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning abilities are essential. The ideal candidate will also have a strong record of collaboration with boards, elected officials, and external stakeholders, and being bilingual and bicultural in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
