About the Role

Candidates for the Board of Directors should be prepared to make a significant commitment, including a Duty of Care and a Duty of Loyalty. Key responsibilities include adopting and amending the organization's goals, approving budgets, and addressing conflicts of interest. The ideal candidate will have a focus on facilitation, be conflict resolution savvy, and have a deep understanding of the social, political, and environmental landscape of the communities served. The role is not compensated, and members must be willing to identify and manage any potential conflicts of interest.
