As a Senior Manager leading Data and AI initiatives for our retail sector, you will play a crucial role in reshaping how global and national retailers approach marketing, commerce, and customer experiences. Your mission will be to harness customer, transactional, and behavioral data, enhancing loyalty programs, optimizing media investments, personalizing commerce, and identifying new growth avenues. The Role: Data & AI Strategy Development: Create impactful capabilities and transformation roadmaps utilizing retail datasets such as POS, clienteling, loyalty programs, e-commerce, merchandising, supply chain, and customer journeys. Analytics Expertise: Conduct retail-specific analytics including marketing and commerce analytics, campaign effectiveness, segmentation, demand forecasting, and recommendation engines. Data Orchestration: Design Customer 360 architectures to unify data from CRM, product lifecycle, loyalty, e-commerce, and behavioral inputs into AI-ready pipelines for hyper-personalization. Generative AI Implementation: Roll out innovative solutions like AI-generated product descriptions, chatbot-driven commerce, digital store assistants, and personalized shopping journeys. Client Engagement Leadership: Oversee large-scale retail AI initiatives including Customer Data Platforms, analytics solutions, and integrations with data clean rooms. Business Development Driving: Create new offerings such as AI-enhanced pricing strategies, personalized promotions, and campaign efficiencies. Team Development and Mentorship: Lead and nurture multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, and consultants. Strategic Advisory: Provide valuable insights to retail leaders including CMOs, CDOs, and CIOs regarding data strategies, AI adoption, and cloud integration. Qualifications: Over 12 years of experience in data, AI, and analytics, with at least 5 years in the retail or consumer goods sector. Familiarity with retail datasets such as merchandising, retail execution, POS, clienteling, loyalty programs, CRM, e-commerce, social media, and advertising. Technical proficiency in solutions including Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Services, Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce CDP, Shopify, and Google Marketing Platform. Experience with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Proficient in AI/ML & GenAI technologies including Python, relevant ML libraries, and platforms like OpenAI, Claude, and Hugging Face. Robust understanding of business and marketing analytics, as well as data orchestration methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: A proven track record in managing large-scale retail data and AI transformations. Experience with AI-driven retail applications including dynamic pricing, churn prediction, and supply-demand optimization. Strong client management skills, executive-level communication, and commercial insight. A Master's degree in Data Science, AI, Business, or a closely related field.
