As a Truck/Diesel Technician, you will be an essential part of the Shop Maintenance team at Baranko Companies. You'll play a key role in keeping our fleet of automotive and diesel vehicles running smoothly to support ongoing projects. This hands-on position provides an opportunity to apply your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to contribute to the overall success of the company.RESPONSIBLITIES Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.Follow manufacturer's specifications and repair procedures.Maintain inventory of spare parts, perform regular stock checks, and order new parts as needed.Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including work orders, inspection reports, and any other relevant documents.Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.Perform other related duties as needed.REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a diesel or truck technician; welding skills is a plus. Technical school or diesel mechanic certification preferred. Dealership experience is a plus. Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic toolsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagramsValid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environmentComfortable working independently and as part of a teamMust be willing to work in all weather conditions and be available for after-hours and on-call assignments when neededMust pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment.Must have reliable transportation to and from work.Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.BENEFITS (Terms and Conditions Apply)Sign-on Bonus up to $3000 (based on experience).
