Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician to join our fast‑growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA Certification. Job Responsibilities Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial systems including air‑cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc. Diagnose and repair machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems. Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems. Assist in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning commercial chiller systems and related HVAC equipment. Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to assess and repair HVAC systems. Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial chiller and refrigeration equipment. Be comfortable and knowledgeable in electrical including components, timers, contactors, relays. Adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems. Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, on‑site, customer interface. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding maintenance schedules, energy efficiency, and system improvement. Prepare and present detailed service reports to customers. Qualifications Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record. Active EPA Certification. 5+ years’ experience in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers. OSHA 10 certification. Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration. Availability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills. Physical Demands Perform the duties of this job requires use of hands, standing, walking, and sitting regularly; climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting or moving up to 50 pounds; and requires close, distance, peripheral, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
