Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Antioch, TN. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, blueprint reading, quality inspection, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading materials, selecting tooling, and adjusting machine settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure parts are manufactured to specifications.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine performance, make necessary offsets and adjustments, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
• Knowledge of G-code and machine offsets.
• Quality inspection and documentation experience.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

The work environment is non-climate controlled but clean, providing a neat and orderly workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Antioch, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Antioch,TN.
