Senior Payroll Accountant

Full Time Senior Payroll AccountantCatholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Full Time Senior Payroll Accountant.Job Duties:Provides support to the payroll department and ensures the timely and accurate processing of payroll records by compiling, organizing, and entering data into the Agency Employee Information System.Responsible for the overall financial activities and a function of a major not-for-profit social service organization includes analytical review of general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in accordance with corporate policies and generally accepted accounting principles.Job Requirements:Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.1-3 years experience in a payroll, accounting or finance field preferred.Must have experience filing and processing Federal & State payroll tax returns.Salary Range: $54,000 - $63,000Agency Mission:Catholic Charities as a ministry of the Archdiocese of Newark participates in the Church's social mission by recognizing the inherent dignity and worth of all people, especially the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable, and by responding to the corporeal and material needs of those it serves with sincere Christian compassion.
