About the Position

Position Overview

One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient gynecology locum tenens opportunity.

This position offers $120/hour provider compensation , a Monday–Friday schedule, no call responsibilities, Epic EMR, and the opportunity to join one of eastern North Carolina's most established Women's Health programs.

Providers with strong gynecologic experience, including colposcopy and LEEP procedures, will be particularly attractive for this assignment.

Assignment Highlights

• $120/hour provider compensation
• Monday–Friday schedule

• Outpatient-only practice
• Women's Health / Gynecology focus
• Established practice with 27 physicians and 9 APPs
• Average 20–22 patients per day
• Epic EMR
• 30-minute new patient appointments
• 15-minute follow-up appointments
• Approximately 2 new patient slots per half-day
• Colposcopy and LEEP experience preferred
• HPA Healthcare is Joint Commission-certified
• HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO

Job Responsibilities

• Annual gynecologic examinations
• Routine gynecologic care
• Postpartum visits
• Evaluation and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding
• Evaluation and treatment of post-menopausal bleeding
• Evaluation and treatment of non-complex ovarian cysts
• Women's preventive health services
• Colposcopy procedures (if experienced)
• LEEP procedures (if experienced)
• Other office-based gynecologic procedures as appropriate
• Epic EMR documentation
• Respond to facility codes if necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and support teams
