About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Asset Management to play a critical role in advancing its mission of providing affordable, sustainable financing to high-impact charter schools in historically marginalized communities. The successful candidate will be a senior steward of the lending portfolio, responsible for portfolio and loan monitoring, risk management, and maintaining strong relationships with rating agencies. This leadership position requires a strategic and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the sector, capable of leading the full lifecycle of portfolio oversight, from tracking school performance to producing high-quality reporting materials. The Vice President will also be instrumental in driving process innovation, particularly in the areas of systems, technology, and project management, and will be expected to champion a culture of operational excellence and innovation. Applicants for the Vice President role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' professional experience, with at least 5 years in senior charter school lending, credit, asset management, or related fields. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The role demands a candidate with strong analytical skills, in-depth experience in credit analysis, and a proven track record in project management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer service orientation, and a commitment to the company's mission, including a demonstrated advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
