Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -New graduates are welcome Location: Reno, NV Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Hours: 20 hours per week Setting: Outpatient Private Practice / Stand-Alone Clinic Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a pulmonary and respiratory care team in Reno, Nevada. This is a part-time, outpatient-only opportunity with no hospital responsibilities, weekends, overnight shifts, or on-call requirements. New graduates are welcome to apply, and training and mentorship are available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with pulmonary and respiratory conditions. Assess and manage conditions including COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, hypoxemia, and other respiratory disorders. Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans. Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and laboratory studies within the scope of practice. Monitor patients' clinical progress and provide follow-up care. Manage chronic respiratory conditions and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Refill and manage prescriptions through the electronic medical record system. Collaborate with the physician on more complex cases. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programme. Active Nevada NP or PA licence, or eligibility to practise in Nevada. Active DEA registration. BLS certification required. ACLS certification required if applicable to the provider's scope and practice requirements. Previous pulmonary, respiratory, sleep medicine, or outpatient experience is beneficial but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
