Qualifications & Required Credentials:

• Current state Special Education Teacher certification/license, in good standing
• Previous experience in self-contained classroom settings strongly preferred
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt instruction
• Strong collaboration skills for working with classroom aides, therapists, and families
• Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and celebrating student strengths

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction according to IEPs in a self-contained setting
• Plan, implement, and modify curriculum and teaching strategies to suit individual student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports on student progress
• Foster social, emotional, and academic growth through differentiated instruction
• Collaborate actively with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
