Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Travelers are required to work every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contracts available for 13-26 weeks, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. If RTO includes weekends, time will be added to the end of the contract to make up for those dates. Floating may be required to any other Medical/Surgical or Telemetry areas.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of direct MedSurg experience.
• Must have a minimum of 2 successful travel contracts.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.
• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care primarily for stroke patients and others with various neuro diagnoses.
• Utilize skills in telemetry and manage patient dysrhythmias effectively.
• Participate in floating to other units and provide necessary care as needed.
• Complete unit orientation of 36 hours prior to starting on the unit.

Compliance / Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed. Call offs or additional RTO may lead to contract cancellation. EKG testing must be passed prior to the start for this specialty.
