Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney

A prominent national law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate to join its practice in New York. About the Role This role provides the opportunity to advise debtors, creditors, lenders, investors and other stakeholders on a broad spectrum of restructuring and special situations matters involving complex financial challenges. Responsibilities Advise debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, and special situations matters. Support clients through Chapter 11 proceedings, out‑of‑court restructurings, workouts, and other financially distressed transactions. Participate in creditor negotiations, restructuring initiatives, and capital solutions transactions across a broad range of industries. Work closely with attorneys across multiple practice areas to develop practical, business‑focused solutions for clients facing financial and operational challenges. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience handling bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, and/or special situations matters at a law firm or comparable legal environment. Demonstrated experience advising debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex restructuring and distressed transactions. Active bar admission in New York.
