Make a meaningful impact working with high school and transition-aged students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. In this onsite opportunity, you’ll use your expertise to support students’ communication abilities and help them thrive in a pivotal phase of their education journey.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Florida SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are welcome
• Experience in school settings highly valued
• Background working with pediatric and adolescent populations
• Comfortable with a high school or transition-aged caseload
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to individual student needs and support IEP goals
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to high school and transition-aged students onsite
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s goals
• Document progress and communicate clearly with staff and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy based on student response and evidence-based best practices
