Job Description:\n\nJob Description – Sales Associate \n\nClassification: Non-Exempt \nManagement Level: N/A \nReports to: Studio Manager\n\nSummary/Objective \n\nThe Sales Associate is responsible for supporting front-line studio operations and delivering an exceptional member experience at every interaction within AFG HoldCo studios. This role serves as a key point of contact for both prospective and current members. Responsibilities include confidently sharing the brand story, driving membership sales, and fostering strong relationships to support retention. The Sales Associate partners with the studio team to achieve sales goals, maintain a high-energy and welcoming environment, and ensure a seamless studio experience. This role requires a positive, service-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a drive to meet and exceed performance expectations. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Studio Manager.\n\nSchedule Requirements: \n\nThursday, Friday evenings + 1 weekend day. \n\nEvening Shifts available: 4pm-8pm\n\nWeekend Shifts available: 7am-1pm OR 8am-2pm\n\nEssential Functions \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. \n\n· Deliver a welcoming, inclusive, and high-energy experience for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring every interaction reflects brand standards.\n\n· Accurately complete and maintain all required member documentation and records using company systems and tools.\n\n· Participate in scheduled team meetings, trainings, and development opportunities.\n\n· Conduct studio tours, clearly communicate membership options, and confidently answer questions about programs and services.\n\n· Partner with studio team members to create a seamless and positive experience for prospective and current members.\n\n· Achieve individual and team sales goals by executing outreach, follow-ups, and lead generation activities to drive membership growth.\n\n· Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.\n\n· Support marketing initiatives, including social media engagement and participation in community events and studio activations.\n\n· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented studio environment in alignment with company standards.\n\n· Communicate effectively with members and prospects across multiple channels (in-person, phone, email, and text).\n\n· Accurately process sales transactions, including cash and credit card payments, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.\n\n· Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns, escalating issues as appropriate.\n\n· Understanding of and commitment to exceptional customer service and the core values at AFG HoldCo.\n\nCore Competencies \n\n· Teamwork – demonstrates positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n\n· Efficiency Orientation – gets the most out of limited resources while achieving quality results.\n\n· Flexibility – responds to changes and others’ ideas comfortably. Responsibilities are performed both at the front desk and throughout the studio floor, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and engaging with others in a dynamic, high-energy setting. The environment may include moderate to loud noise levels due to music and group fitness classes. The role also includes administrative tasks such as working on a computer, using phones (communication with internal and external customers), and other standard office equipment. Occasional participation in offsite events or community activities may be required.\n\nPhysical Demands \n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This position requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the studio, as well as regular interaction with members and team members. The employee is regularly required to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing in a potentially loud environment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role may occasionally require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items such as retail products or supplies (up to approximately 25–30 pounds), as well as bending, reaching, and light cleaning tasks to maintain the studio environment.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work \n\nThis is a part-time position.
