Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and laboratory results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, ensuring that operating rooms are prepared, patients are correctly positioned, and instruments are efficiently passed during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical experience strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
