Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Engage closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, ensuring operating room readiness, patient positioning, and the timely provision of surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Facilitate outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering aspects such as medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• A Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
