Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including prior travel nursing experience. The RN will provide high-quality care in a 29-bed unit specializing in orthopedic and medical-surgical patients, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.Shifts and SchedulingSchedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)No on-call dutiesFloating to other areas as neededCharge RN shifts may be required as neededResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an orthopedic and medical-surgical unit.Monitor and assess patients, including telemetry monitoring.Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans.Assist patients with rehabilitation and physical therapy in a dedicated gym on the unit.Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.Prior travel nursing experience is required.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Charge RN experience is required.Patient PopulationThe unit serves a high-volume patient population, including individuals receiving care for total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
