Registered Nurse

Provide safe, accurate, and efficient patient care Assess patients and review labs and vital signs Ensure medication safety, dose verification, and drug administration Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents Follow Oncology Nursing Society standards and guidelines Dispose of biohazardous waste according to OSHA and NIOSH guidelines Provide new and ongoing patient education, continual patient assessment, and support Document treatment accurately and timely in the EMR Capture appropriate charges for medication administration and activities Follow proper patient identification procedures Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plans Perform telephone triage and prioritize incoming calls and messages Assist with inventory and restocking of medical supplies Complete required safety and nursing trainings and attend mandatory staff meetings Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information Assist in training new employees Work at any company location as needed Perform other assigned duties and projects Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Requirements Nursing Degree Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license Current CPR and BLS certifications Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting Ability to assess patient needs and condition Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and emotionally charged matters Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook EMR proficiency Travel requirement of less than 25% Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM availability Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and adherence to oncology standards.
