Royal Management Logistics is a growing transportation and logistics company seeking an experienced Logistics Billing Specialist to join our team. This is not a standard medical, retail, or office billing position . We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced freight industry and can accurately process customer invoices, carrier payments, and shipment documentation. Responsibilities
- Invoice freight shipments accurately and on time
- Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), rate confirmations, and shipment paperwork
- Review customer contracts and ensure billing matches agreed rates
- Process carrier invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
- Work with dispatch, customers, and carriers to resolve billing issues
- Reconcile detention, layover, lumper, TONU, and accessorial charges
- Maintain accurate records within our Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Assist with accounts receivable and collections when needed
- Meet daily and weekly billing deadlines
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of billing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics billing experience
- Experience working in a Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Knowledge of freight terminology including PODs, BOLs, detention, layover, accessorials, and carrier settlements
