Project Manager

Insight Global's client is seeking a Project Manager / Owner's Representative to support multiple renovation and infrastructure projects across stateowned facilities in the Richmond & Charlottesville, VA area.


This position serves as the owner's "eyes and ears," coordinating with design teams, contractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet state standards and contractual requirements.

This role is wellsuited for an independent, detailoriented project manager with experience working on state or institutional construction projects, particularly within regulated environments.


The Project Manager will oversee project coordination, documentation, and reporting, while supporting successful delivery across multiple active sites.

Key Focus Areas:
- Owner's Representative leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Stakeholder coordination across technical and nontechnical teams
- Compliance with state construction standards and procedures
- Oversight of schedules, budgets, and contractor performance
- Support of largescale renovation and infrastructure initiatives

Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of project management experience
(with 5+ years considered with strong state experience)
- Prior experience serving as an Owner's Rep
- Experience working on statefunded or publicsector construction projects
- Working knowledge of Virginia state construction processes, including: Division of Engineering & Buildings (DEB) &
State Professional Services Manual (SPSM)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with Excel; Procore experience preferred
- Engineering or Architecture degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
