Executive Director, Commercial Real Estate (Digital Infrastructure)

Business Responsibilities Lead transactor in the origination, structuring and execution of customized solutions for clients in the Americas region; identify cross‑selling opportunities for other product partners. Formulate and prepare financial models and credit memos to support contemplated transactions primarily related to CRE, Data Centers, corporate/investment grade acquisitions and syndicated facilities. Support the wider CRE team, regional/global head, in the execution of transactions through close collaboration with Client Coverage and support functions such as Specialized Financing Risk, Credit, Operations, LDU (Loan Documentation Unit), LPU (Loan Processing Unit), CRC (Credit Risk Control), Legal and Compliance. Assume accountability for the credit risk of clients and ensure continuous dialogue with relationship bankers (GAMs & FAMs) and relevant support areas to ensure monitoring and control. Ensure that business conforms to relevant product Credit Underwriting Standards (CRE CUP), Product Program Governance (PPG) and all other bank policies and procedures. Processes Ensure deals are properly screened and selected in line with the Bank’s strategy and risk appetite. Provide oversight of portfolio risks through account monitoring and escalating to line manager where necessary. Manage internal processes such as RCAF, PSR, BCA, Deal Check List and others. People & Talent Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations for the team and collaborate with risk and control partners. Ensure ongoing training and development of staff, maintaining effective supervision and mitigating any risks. Risk Management Comply with risk management processes, including country‑level Portfolio Standards, Underwriting Standards, Credit Underwriting Principles (CUP) and PPGs. Monitor client activity for adverse news and communicate and elevate gaps in systems, controls and procedures to relevant functions or line manager. Governance and Regulatory Conduct Maintain awareness of the regulatory framework and requirements relevant to the role. Demonstrate exemplary conduct, adhering to the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Embed high standards of ethics and comply with all applicable laws, regulations and the Group Code of Conduct. Risk management and internal controls. Qualifications Degree or postgraduate qualification. 7–10+ years of prior relevant experience in investment banking, with a track record considered desirable. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a team environment and on a self‑directed basis. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Certifications Proficient in Excel and other relevant tools. Languages Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
