Resident Services Coordinator I

Job Overview Riley Crossing senior living community located in Chanhassen, MN near Hwy 101 and County Road 212. Opens 2019; hosts 134 units of Independent, Assisted Living, Enhanced and Memory Care. Offers on‑site intergenerational child care and interactive programming with seniors. This Resident Services Coordinator I provides a wide range of administrative support to the nursing department and maintains the nursing staffing schedule for the community located in Chanhassen, MN. Part‑time Schedule 40 hours per two‑week pay period Day shift Weekends as needed Responsibilities Maintain nursing staffing schedule for community: updates master schedules; communicates staffing schedule changes; notifies Director of Health Services (DHS) of open blocks; posts daily schedule. Determine PPL eligibility and, with DHS, approve or deny based on policy. Determine staffing needs/open shifts; communicate open shifts and take steps to fill shifts promptly. Approve/deny employee schedule trades; notify DHS of status changes and permanent schedule change requests. Document attendance/tardiness reports, notifying DHS for disciplinary action. Participate in on‑call staffing rotation (if applicable). Coordinates Administrative Functions Assist DHS with E‑Time (Payroll) for nursing employees. Track education compliance and ensure documentation (Educare, supervisory visits). Schedule new employee interviews and may assist with new hire paperwork. Assist with new hire personnel file set up. Coordinate resident communication and schedule care conferences. Maintain resident directories. Coordinate on‑site providers (podiatry, physicians). Assist DHS with resident correspondence. Other Duties as Assigned Work as Resident Assistant upon request of building leadership (refer to RA job description for specific duties and tasks). Required Qualifications One to three years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Vocational/technical training or associate degree. Previous experience with Eldermark and Educare. Health Unit Coordinator training.
