Help
- Perform constructability review of plans and specifications to determine practicability from a construction viewpoint
- Participate in or, when directed, conducting site showings and pre-construction conferences.
- Review contractor's proposed working schedules for logic, adequacy and to determine construction schedules will be met.
- Research requests for information (RFis), answers as appropriate and recommends changes in design to cope with at-the-site conditions.
- Provide field measurements, computations and cost estimates, and first-hand information of site conditions, for use by office engineers in preparing contract modifications.
- Prepare punch sheet on final inspections of completed contracts and providing technical verification for transfer documents.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety provisions of the contract.
- Review as-built drawings to ensure changes in plans and specifications have been accurately noted.
