Our Solution Consulting department is responsible for supporting our sales teams in the pre‑sales phases, by providing their expertise in our SaaS platform and functional purchasing processes (S2C, P2P).

ROLE:

We are on the search for a Pre‑Sales Solutions Consultant with a focus to join our team who brings a dynamic approach in our fast‑paced technology environment to help customers solve complex business problems. Our Solutions Consultants are analytical and product focused, they are excited at the concept of making a difference in the procurement space, creative and collaborative, and thrive on building and bringing value to new customer relationships. This SC reports to our Manager, SC in AMER.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

Collaborating with Account Executives on qualified opportunities to uncover customer business objectives, pain points and project requirements Create winning strategic sales strategies and presentations for prospects using best practices and industry expertise Presenting the value of the Ivalua Platform with highly sophisticated and engaging demos Providing functional responses to RFPs and RFIs and supporting all functional/technical activities required from initial bid response through the entire sales cycle Recommending and supporting different selling strategies and pre‑sales activities including Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to support advanced prospect requirements Working effectively with other parts of the organization, including Product Management and R&D to support ongoing product improvements via prospects’ and customers’ feedback Embracing AI as both a tool and a product by using it to work smarter across thesales cycle, and building the fluency to demonstrate and defend the AIcapabilities of Ivalua. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as an essential function of the role; travel requirements may fluctuate based on business needs.

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you: Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree in relevant field with a minimumof 3 years relevant professional experience, OR Equivalent combination ofeducationand experience Knowledge and experience in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain functions Knowledge and experience with SaaS and Cloud-Based applications Ability to articulate the value of and sell SaaS/Cloud-Based applications Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Spend management, sourcing, contract management, eProcurement, eInvoicing, Spend Analytics, Direct Procurement MRP/ERP, Services procurement, Supplier Master Data management domains Strong interest in AI and Agentic AI Staying current on the solution roadmap (forthcoming improvements) as well as competitive offers to improve your industry knowledge Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and other software tools (forecasting / sales tracking) Soft Skills : Excellent writing and communication skills Your personality will make a difference: Committed, involved, autonomous, analytical and commercially aware, you thrive in a challenging environment, and you are well organized with an entrepreneurial spirit

The salary range for this position is based upon careful and continual market compensation research. In addition to location, salary may also vary based upon job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Title: Solution Consultant Base range minimum: $105,000 Base range maximum: $175,000 *Additional compensation / rewards: In addition to the base salary information above, Ivalua offers an uncapped commission plan as part of the competitive compensation package.
