Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role oversees daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standards across all mission-critical activities. Responsibilities include managing operational performance, leading cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Vice President Operations will also develop and execute operational strategies, oversee budgets and resources, and coordinate closely with executive leadership to align operations with business goals. Day-to-day tasks involve reviewing key metrics, resolving escalated operational issues, collaborating with customer-facing teams, and supporting major projects from planning through execution. Qualifications Strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to oversee complex, mission-critical initiatives and ensure consistent execution. Demonstrated experience in P&L Management, including budget oversight, cost control, and financial performance optimization. Customer Service focus with the ability to build and maintain client relationships and support high service standards. Proven Strategic Planning capabilities to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Leadership experience managing diverse teams, with skills in coaching, performance management, and talent development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in using data and metrics to guide operations. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
