Lead Teacher Kid's First Parma Heightsis a licensed childcare center seeking LeadTeachers to support the following age groups: Infants Preschool To be QUALIFIED for this position, werequirea high school diploma OR GED, 1 year of experience, and the ability to pass all background checks. Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides. Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carryout lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Useour parent communication appefficiently. Establish a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children. Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; andmaintainingan organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom. Maintaina child assessment and portfoliofor each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing,walking,running,and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
