Commercial Lines Account Manager

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for supporting clients with service needs and managing changes to existing accounts. This role includes both service and marketing responsibilities and requires meeting established standards for service quality and delivery. The position supports organizational goals by providing Account Executives and the Sales team with the service resources needed to acquire new clients and retain existing ones. Key Responsibilities The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for supporting clients with service needs and managing changes to existing accounts. This role includes both service and marketing responsibilities and requires meeting established standards for service quality and delivery. The position supports organizational goals by providing Account Executives and the Sales team with the service resources needed to acquire new clients and retain existing ones. Assist in preparing proposals, graphs, and service plans for clients. Support Account Executives with marketing, including preparing all necessary applications and data. Contract review as needed Support Account Executive/Senior Broker(s) with renewal process Managing renewal expiration list Reviewing carrier quotes for accuracy Managing client proposal preparation (participating in presentation as needed) Managing post-binding process (insurance summary preparation, stack charts, coordination, critical service outputs, i.e., certificates of insurance, etc.) Invoicing (renewal placements, brokerage fee, special projects, etc.) Market certain lines of coverage as determined by the Account Executive Maintain accurate client account in the agency management system Follow company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required 5-8 years of insurance client-service related experience Bachelor's degree in a business-related program or equivalent education and/or experience in the insurance industry Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain immediately Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Proficiency in Applied Epic preferred, but not required Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
