Physician AssistantHoag Health, Orange County's top-ranked health system is seeking a full time, Physician Assistant to join our growing Vascular Surgery program!The Hoag Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute at Hoag Health is pioneering world-class care in our community. The program is involved in multiple clinical trials and is often a site for new technologies as multiple leading biotech companies are headquartered or have a strong presence in Orange County, CA. We are also expanding, with a new hospital being completed in Irvine, CA in 2026!Highlights:Full time positionSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmOutpatient role with occasional inpatient duties including rounding and first assist supportCompetitive compensation package inclusive of a base guaranteed salaryComprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, sick timeExperienced Team including Vascular surgeons, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, APP's and seasoned support staffDuties:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.Administer medications and perform procedures such as phlebotomy and dermabrasion.Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on lifestyle changes and wellness strategies.Suturing, closing, retracting. Sclerotherapy experience preferred but not requiredParticipate in discharge planning for patients leaving the hospital, ensuring continuity of care.Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including medical coding for billing purposes.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Vascular Surgery PA is REQUIREDActive CA Physician Assistant License in good standingGraduate from an accredited PA programVascular and /or surgical experience highly preferredExperience with Epic EMR preferredExperience working in a hospital setting is preferred.Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.Contact:Steven YiPhysician View email address on click.appcast.io
