Customer Engagement Sales Associate (Live Events)

Location: In-Office – Schaumburg, IL

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Must be available evenings and weekends.
• Note: This role does not offer weekday daytime-only hours.

Pay: $25.00 per hour.

We are expanding our digital presence and looking for energetic, outgoing, and talkative individuals to join our team for our real-time events on platforms like Whatnot.

Job Summary

Are you outgoing, talkative, and looking for a career that isn’t a typical desk job? We are seeking Customer Engagement Sales Associates to be the voice of our live online events. You will drive sales by presenting products, interacting with a live audience, and creating an upbeat, fun shopping experience. 

No Experience Necessary!We provide full training for candidates with the right personality and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in live sales events on platforms such as Whatnot.
• Present products in an engaging, persuasive, and high-energy manner.
  
   
• Interact with live viewers, answer questions, and encourage purchasing activity.
• Create urgency and excitement to maximize sales during live events.
• Prepare products for live shows (sorting, organizing, light research).
• Maintain organization and accuracy when handling inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to improve show performance and sales strategy.
• Assist with other online sales channels (e.g., eBay) as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Outgoing personality and comfort engaging with an audience verbally.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a lively conversation.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, live environment.
• Reliable with a consistent work history.

Preferred

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or other people-oriented roles.
• Experience selling jewelry, coins, or collectibles
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., eBay).

Additional Information

• Work Location: In person – Schaumburg, IL
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with scheduled workdays rotating based on business and coverage needs. Flexibility to work varying weekdays is required.
