Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Jay Primary Care & Family Practice

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at  IU Health Jay Primary Care and IU Health Jay Family Practice ! This position will be split between two clinics located across the parking lot on the same campus. Details :

• Full-time, Day Shift 
  • 4-10hr days; 36 patient facing hours per week
  • No weekends, no call
• 100% Outpatient
• Patient Population: All ages; rural community; acute and chronic care conditions
• Expected patient volume in office: 50-60/wk
• Join a team of 4 Physicians, 7 APPs and 34 Support Staff
• Procedures include simple/small office procedures including but not limited to lacerations, I&D, wart and lesion removal, and wedge resections.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree required 
• FNP or PA certification required 
• Open to new graduates 
• Experience in either primary care, acute care, or emergency medicine preferred
• Ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and is a team player be a team player
