Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
The Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces to achieve the required appearance, grade, and durability.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and smooth freshly poured concrete.
• Operate hand and power finishing tools.
• Edge, groove, and finish sidewalks, slabs, curbs, and other concrete surfaces.
• Apply curing compounds and surface treatments.
• Verify grades and elevations.
• Perform repairs and patching as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience finishing commercial or residential concrete.
• Knowledge of concrete curing and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Concrete Carpenter

Job Summary
The Concrete Carpenter constructs, installs, and removes concrete forms used in the placement of concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and layout formwork.
• Build and install wood and steelply concrete forms.
• Install embeds, anchor bolts, and blockouts.
• Set forms to proper line and grade.
• Strip, clean, and store reusable forms.
• Install reinforcing accessories as directed.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.

Qualifications

• Experience building concrete forms.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Knowledge of layout and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with Symons, Peri, EFCO, or similar form systems is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor.

Superintendent

Job Summary
The Superintendent oversees all field operations related to construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications. The superintendent coordinates crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily concrete construction activities.
• Manage crews of finishers, carpenters, laborers, and equipment operators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries of concrete, reinforcing steel, and construction materials.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work meets contract specifications.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate inspections with engineers, and inspectors.
• Track production, labor hours, and project progress.
• Resolve field issues and communicate with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of concrete construction supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of concrete placement, forming, reinforcing, and finishing.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
