Night Shift -  4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Job Description:-

CNC Mill Operator will work on a large milling machine. Experience working on a llarge, boring machine.

Sets up, performs checks of routine programs, and operates milling CNC vertical or horizontal machines to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations to meet close tolerances and finish requirements. Mounts and secures tooling in the magazine or turret; aligns and secures fixtures and wworkpiece and checks to establish reference points. Complete programming at the machine using M & G code.

Duties and Responsibilities

Selects, measures, assembles, and ssets of machine tooling, such as drill bits, milling or cutting tools, using precision gauges and instruments.

Mounts, installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures on machine, using hand tools.

Determines specifications, machine operation, workpiece dimensions, using blueprints, and follow standard operating procedures.

Performs controller programming at machine to position tools (X,Y,Z coordinates).

Measures dimensions of finished workpiece to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.

Monitors machine operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and compare readings to specifications.

Maintains machine, removes and replaces broken or worn machine tooling, using hand tools.

Cleans machine, tooling, and parts.

Report ont daily production achieved.

Report Non Conformances.

Participate in continuous improvement processes and activities.

Education:     

Qualifications (Education, Training, Certification, Licenses, Experience)

Overall Experience

4 years CNC Milling experience

5 years of experience in a grind room in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Education

S. diploma or equivalent.

Vocational training preferred.
