Role Description The Head Soccer Coach is a part-time, on-site role based in Spring, TX, responsible for leading the school’s soccer program and student-athletes. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and running practices, teaching fundamental and advanced soccer skills, and developing age-appropriate training plans that prioritize safety and player development. The coach will organize game strategies, manage lineups, communicate with families and school staff, and ensure compliance with school and league policies. Additional responsibilities include supervising assistant coaches, maintaining equipment, promoting sportsmanship and teamwork, and supporting the academic and personal growth of players. Qualifications Demonstrated soccer coaching experience, including planning practices, teaching skills, and developing game strategies. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring youth and collaborating with school staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Knowledge of player safety standards, conditioning, and injury prevention appropriate for school-aged athletes. Commitment to fostering sportsmanship, character development, and a positive team culture aligned with school values. Ability to supervise practices and games on-site, manage schedules, and maintain organized records and equipment. Previous experience coaching at the school, club, or collegiate level is preferred; relevant coaching certifications are a plus.
