Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Legal Support Specialist is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to attorneys and other administrative personnel. The Legal Support Specialist is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing quality work products, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Above all, the Legal Support Specialist must fulfill the needs of the Office in a manner which is consistent with the Firm's visions and values. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma. Specialized secretarial degree, Associate’s, and/or Bachelor’s degree; or some undergraduate course work is preferred. Minimum three years of legal secretarial experience. Able to type accurately at least 70 words per minute. Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook. Thorough knowledge of the proper preparation of time records and expense reports, client bills, and conflict-checking forms.
