Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – General Nursing

Schedule: Nights 7p-7a

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current nursing license in Maine or a compact state
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Immunizations: varicella (2 doses or titer), HepB (3 doses or titer/declination), MMR (2 doses or titer), Tdap, PPD (2 step or titer within the past 12 months)
• Flu shot required during flu season

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing age-appropriate nursing assessments.
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Execute nursing actions aimed at achieving patient goals.
• Communicate patient care activities and updates with the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities in accordance with standards and hospital policies.
• Ensure patient safety and wellness by maintaining a safe physical environment.

Compliance / Notes:

• Travelers will report to Human Resources on day 1 for the onboarding process.
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks.
