I’m working with a well-established commercial mechanical contractor in Houston that is looking to add a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to their team.

They’re looking for someone who can come in and own projects , not just manage paperwork. This person will have a hand in everything from preconstruction and buyout through project completion, working directly with GCs, owners, engineers, subcontractors, and the field team.

The role:

• Manage large-scale HVAC, plumbing & piping projects
• Own budgets, schedules, procurement, buyout, and project financials
• Work closely with GCs, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
• Handle change orders, forecasting, cost control, and monthly financials
• Oversee project execution and coordinate with the field
• Help mentor and develop Project Engineers and junior PMs

What they’re looking for:

• 10+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience
• 5+ years in a PM / Senior PM capacity
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, piping, and overall mechanical systems knowledge
• Experience running $5M+ projects
• Strong financial and project management skills
• Construction software experience
• Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred, but not required with the right experience
