CGP: Move Project Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Move Project Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $34.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact among department leaders, vendors, and internal teams for all move activities.
• Coordinate permits and approvals for specialized equipment and facility needs.
• Source, compare, and recommend vendors for moving, demolition, and technical services.
• Plan and manage vendor schedules to ensure safe handling and timely transport of equipment, furniture, inventory, and workstations.
• Maintain a detailed move plan with timelines, checklists, and regular updates while adjusting to operational needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading complex commercial or industrial moves or similar relocation projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors, budgets, and schedules.
• Proficiency with common project tools such as spreadsheets, task trackers, and timelines.
• Ability to be on site for walkthroughs, move days, and post move activities, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Valid California driver license and the ability to travel between locations using a personal vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate among leaders, staff, vendors, and external partners.
• Practical problem solving ability and sound judgment in fast changing conditions.
• Familiarity with inventory handling, storage methods, and facility fixtures.
• Knowledge of safety practices and compliance requirements for packing, transport, and setup.
• Prior experience in production, warehouse, or artistic environments.
