Locum Interventional Cardiology Opportunity – Gettysburg, PA

A hospital-based in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is seeking a locum Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing inpatient and call coverage.

Compensation: $500/hr, 24h call $3800, night call $700, call back $550/hr

Schedule

Monday–Friday:

7a–4p onsite coverage

Night beeper STEMI call from 4p–7a

1-hour lunch required Monday–Friday

Weekend Coverage:

24-hour STEMI call coverage (7a–7a)

Clinical Responsibilities

Hospital consults

Inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterizations

STEMI call coverage

TEE procedures

Echo reads

Cardiac window procedures

Average daily volume:

Approximately 15 consults per day

Approximately 3 procedures per day

Adult patient population

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

Active Pennsylvania license required

DEA required

Must be comfortable with STEMI call coverage

Experience with TEEs, caths, and cardiac procedures required

Additional Information

Average of 3 weeks of call coverage per month

Temps available with clean file

Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days if not previously credentialed
