Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred
• Recent experience providing speech and language services within a school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and families
• Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based interventions
• Effective organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings and consultations with multi-disciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal guidelines
• Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding communication disorders and strategies for academic success
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
