As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you’ll support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering evidence-based rehabilitation to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. You’ll carry out individualized treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises and mobility training, monitor patient progress, and document outcomes in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you’ll educate patients and families, contribute to discharge planning, and help patients safely regain strength, function, and independence while upholding Encompass Health’s standards of compassion, integrity, and clinical excellence.
