Entry Level Or Associate Procurement AgentBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona.Position Responsibilities – Entry Level 1 :Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supplySupports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreementsGathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunitiesPosition Responsibilities - Associate Level 2 :Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supplyPrepares and executes proprietary information agreementsSupports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreementsCommunicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performanceSummary of ResponsibilitiesIntegrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategiesNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreementsConducts risk, issues and opportunities managementManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategiesCommunicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliersMore than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higherMore than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.Entry Level 1: Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAssociate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTypical Education/Experience:Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience.
