Director, Supply Chain

Job Description (Knowledge)

Specific Education & Experience Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience in related field and a BS/BA; or
• 10+ years of relevant experience and a MA/MBA.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Manages planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of production planning, purchasing, material control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Coordinates activities and resolves issues/problems related to production planning, procurement, and material management; makes/recommends decisions consistent with strategic direction.
• Implements and maintains material control systems, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure controlled flow of approved materials timed to production requirements.
• Ensures personnel, equipment, material, and services are available to maintain acceptable inventory levels.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Contract Administration.
• Provides expertise and guidance for establishment and maintenance of the production control system.
• May serve as liaison to governmental agencies; interfaces with regulatory agencies as required.
• Reviews/approves/implements changes to controlled documents.
• Develops new department applications based on professional principles and theories.
• May negotiate major contracts; monitors cost, schedules, and performance.

Compensation/Benefits

• Salary range: $191,250.00 - $247,500.00. May be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
