Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.Pay Range: $18.40 - $25.30Position Summary: The Material Coordinator is responsible for the management of inventoried materials which includes receiving, inventory control, tracking, and filling orders in a warehouse setting.Key Responsibilities:Pick and stage materials for production orders and internal requestsPost receipts for incoming raw materials and finished product from external suppliersPut away released materials into inventory locationsCreate and post ERP journals for material movementsCreate and/or move inventory locations both physically and in the ERPMaintain and organize inventory storage areasConsolidate materials in inventory to free up stocking spacePerform cycle counts according to planSupport the scrap reporting and scrap removal processVerify inventory quality by inspecting label legibility, product qty, item, and batchPull, load, transport, and unload inventory into various warehouse locations as requiredComplete and follow company and department assigned trainingFollow company policies and practicesPerform additional duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of inventory and/or warehouse experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferredComputer entry and typing skills are necessaryMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong attention to detailBasic knowledge of mathematicsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to work independently without close supervisionAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureAbility to be on your feet for periods of timeAbility to work in coolers and freezers for periods of timeAbility to problem solve; including the ability to identify problems and bring to management to evaluate a course of actionWillingness to improve, learn and adapt to changeAbility to support and work within the team environment.
